Rugby Theatre is one of the top ten amateur theatres in the country. It is renowned for its dazzling shows ranging from classical and modern drama to comedy,musicals and dance.
Rugby Theatre has a proud history going back to 1949 and since its inception it has grown to become a very successful group with over 500 members.
We are much more than a theatre. Not only do we have 10 live productions each year but we also host several concerts along with approximately 20 films each year.
This is in addition to hosting numerous outside lettings.
We are simply the top arts centre in the area.
At Rugby Theatre we have an intimate, friendly 313 seat theatre and our shows often compare favourably to professional productions.
The range of entertainment is diverse, with everything from cinema, youth productions, opera and children's dancing to classical drama, old time musical halls and celebrity speakers.

We have four wheel chair spaces in the theatre stalls, with access from the street through a side entrance.
The theatre auditorium is also fitted with an induction loop system to assist people who are hard of hearing obtain a much clearer reception.
