Red Sun are a traditional Shotokan Karate Club affiliated with the SKU (Shotokan Karate Union), run by Sensei Colin Needham who comes from a long line of Karate instructors.
Not only do Red Sun run Karate classes for various ages and fitness/experience levels, but they also run several social activities for their members, promoting both socialising and exercise as part of a balanced lifestyle.
They organise training weekends, days out, camping trips, fun runs, charity events, BBQ’s, and even exchange trips, so there’s plenty of things to get involved with aside from whichever classes you sign up to!
Karate can be great not only for learning to protect yourself, but for a full body workout and general fitness. If you’re bored of your usual mundane gym routine, the instructors at Red Sun will keep the training challenging but also engaging and fun too, so come along and start enjoying the benefits of martial arts training!
