Red Sun Karate is brilliant and my son loves it. He has been going for over a year now and he has learnt discipline whilst still having fun. The Sensei's are brilliant with young kids and have lots of patience. they never let a child give up! There are several classes to attend each week and whether you attend them all or just one the price remains the same. brilliant. I would definitely recommend Red Sun Karate to all ages. Well done Red Sun. keep up the good work!

I have been a member of Red Sun for almost five years now. I was made to feel very welcome from day one and since then have made some fantastic friends. It’s extremely good value for money. The Sensei’s are brilliant and have a vast knowledge, and what I especially like is that they appreciate that not every one learns at the same pace and encourage you at every stage. In addition to training hard, there is also several social events throughout the year so who wouldn’t want to join! I would definitely recommend Red Sun Karate to anyone who is thinking about joining a Karate Club.

Talk about an amazing club, for both young and old, fat or thin, crazy or sane - this place has everything! Highly qualified instructors who live and breathe traditional karate, passing on their knowledge of this ancient art. Members and their families benefit from increased fitness, confidence, and a social side to the club which sees friends forged for life. Couldn't recommend Red Sun Karate Club enough!

I was new to karate and went to a few schools before I started at Red Sun. The other schools I went to were ridiculously overpriced and the teachers seemed inexperienced. Then I found Red Sun and the instructors are quality. And to top it off it's so much cheaper than the other schools and better value for money. As a beginner, karate can be daunting especially for an adult but everyone at the club has helped me feel comfortable and be the best I can. I'd recommend this club to anyone who's looking for karate, fitness and value for money.

This is a small and friendly dojo. The sensei teach karate with sensitivity and sensibility with potential to build confident individuals with character and healthy aspirations from children and adults in physical and spiritual sense. The club also has links with world wide known names in karate and sensei work hard with them to better themselves too.

I started with my daughter around 7 years ago - why sit on the sidelines watching people exercise? I was going to have to wait anyway so I got involved - the best decision ever! There aren't many activities where you can learn together with your children in a warm friendly atmosphere, keeping fit at the same time. I had been a member of a gym for many years and wasn't getting benefit, also I found it impersonal with hardly anyone speaking and I learnt how to lift a weight - how exciting is that! Why not do something that may prove to be useful someday. Karate has given me focus, discipline, confidence and many friends. Also it has given me the opportunity to teach both adults and children helping them to discover what they can achieve. Red Sun teaches traditional Shotokan Karate, and has it's focus on Karate rather than profit making, not pushing to make large purchases week to week as in some other clubs. A very well run club with a vast amount of knowledge throughout the grades. I can't recommend it enough.

I was looking for a karate club after previously training in a different style and was ideally looking for a club which practised my previous style (soo bahk do) for me and my 5 year old son to join. i couldnt find one locally which wasnt extortionately priced and started looking at different styles, i looked at a number of other local clubs and styles but after walking through the door of red sun i was sold. Sensei needham was open and honest about pricing and session times whereas other clubs seemed a bit cloak and dagger or wanted long term financial commitment. First impressions were very good.
I have been a member of the club now for nine months and really enjoy it. If your looking for a karate school for yourself or your kids, then i can highly recommend this club.
The training facilities and instructors are excellent and you will recieve a warm welcome from all members.

If you are interested in martial arts and fancy giving it a go, get yourself down to the club, you won't regret it.
