Television programmes such as The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent might have fooled the nation into thinking that all our musical talent originates from Reality TV Shows but we know different. We know that there is a vast wealth of talent ready to be nurtured, even right here in Salford.
Brighter Sound is calling all of Salford’s young singers, writers, MCs, beat boxers and vocalists forward. They are looking for young performers aged between 13–18 years old to sing and harmonise, learning new vocal skills and sharing their own talents. Brighter Sound is offering vocal and songwriting workshops so that unknown talent can be properly nurtured.
This is an opportunity for young performers to writer new music with some amazing guest artists and leaders, all wrapping up with a brilliant weekly project. This vocal programme for young people is called Sing City Salford and is such an amazing opportunity for promising performers looking to showcase their immense talent.
