People talk about how Christmas is the ultimate time of the year that brings everyone together, and how Christmas is the ultimate time of celebration and joy to be enjoyed by all. I'm guessing those people have never experienced Halloween in Salford!
Halloween (or All Hallows' Eve) is a festival that is dedicated to remembering the dead including saints and martyrs. But what am I doing reciting the history of Halloween? Lets get down to the real business of this scary night!
Salford is a fantastic place to be on Halloween. Parties are raging, events come thick and fast and the atmosphere is superb. There are witch walks to be experienced, spooky art to be crafted and Ordsall Hall has a ghost of its very own!
Maybe you are going to dress up and go trick or treating this year, or play some pranks, or maybe just watch a scary film? That is the beauty of Halloween – it is so diverse and pumped full of flavor, that it is impossible not to find something fun to do on 31st October!
Keep a very close eye on TheBestOfSalford over the coming month for all things Halloween!
