Are you thinking of supporting charitable organisations that are dedicated to helping people in Sheffield?
Neurocare was formed in 1988 and has since raised almost £1 million to assist with improving the quality of care for patients attending the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
The charitable organisation's aim is to ensure the highest standard of care and best quality of life for patients. Over the years, Neurocare has been responsible for pushing the boundaries of neuroscience; the charitable organisation originally helped to fund the very first pieces of equipment to set up the specialist neuro- HDU/ ITU services we have today.
Donations are used for equipment, funding research and to support the development of neurosciences in surgery, neurology, neuro-physiology, neuro-radiology and theatres. Neurocare aims to provide equipment which would not otherwise be provided by the NHS.
As one of the most dedicated and pro-active charitable organisations in Sheffield, Neurocare organises a whole range of events over the year to raise money. There is something for everyone - from high adrenalin events like abseils and sky diving to golf days and evening events. For further information contact appeals@neurocare.org.uk
