Business is buzzing at The Quadrant, the Parkway-based business centre, Sheffield, where four new tenants have just moved in boosting local jobs and keeping the occupancy rate well above 90%.
One of The Quadrant’s new tenants, IT and telephony company Solutions11, is setting up a new call centre to handle its latest venture - a secure data back-up service for businesses. The call centre will employ more than 50 people and they are already recruiting locally.
Other new arrivals include Sheffield Wellbeing Consortium, a partnership of third sector organisations delivering health and support services, XN Hotels a provider of IT business applications and electronic booking services to hotels, and Talascend, a company which services global engineering, construction and manufacturing industries.
“We have a fantastic range of companies and it’s partly the thriving business community within The Quadrant that has helped us buck the trend in these harder economic times,” says manager Jim Coleman.
“Tenants tell us that the spectacular look of the building goes down well with their clients and they like the fact that we have our own Cafe and it’s located half way between the city centre and the motorway. Our current occupancy rate of 93% proves that this is a great place to work.”
The Quadrant’s website (www.quadrantsheffield.com) has had a make-over making it easier to navigate and bringing it up to date with new developments such as ‘Virtual Tenants’ - clients who are not ready to rent an office but need a business address and somewhere to meet clients.
The Quadrant’s stunning facilities include the 50 seater, round, glass-walled conference room and several spectacular meeting rooms that can each hold 8 people boardroom style. It offers free car parking and state of the art AV equipment at no extra cost.
The well equipped office suites at the Quadrant range from 269 sq ft offices that can hold 4 people up to 1205 sq ft offices that can cater for 15 staff.
