The (DVSA) has issued a warning to learner drivers to steer clear of copycat sites.
When typing popular government services into search engines, some of your search results might be ads for private sites that try and pass themselves off as official gov’t sites where the services are free or the costs are much lower than the copycats.
DRIVING TEST BOOKINGS
Some of the so called copycat websites offer to book practical tests and theory tests and appear very convincing and official, however they charge a significantly higher fee for their services.
Some of the copycats charge £30 ONTOP of the actual test fee. A free retest ‘pass protection’ fee is offered that very few people are entitled to.
In addition these websites cannot offer an actual appointment time or an immediate booking confirmation.
