I bought an Ego lawnmower online, during lockdown in March 2020. The battery proved to be faulty and I was given contact details for three businesses near me who would be able to inspect and replace the battery, if necessary, under the Ego warranty. The business nearest to me were dismissive and unwilling to help, going so far as to say that batteries don't come with warranties and, even if they did, they weren't interested.. So I phoned Chris at Brookside Garden Machine Centre with some trepidation, but his response couldn't have been more different. He asked me to bring the battery in, he tested it and confirmed it was faulty, and he got me a replacement within 3 working days. Friendly, efficient and professional service which I'm delighted to recommend - I'll be going back there for any future purchases,.

I first got in touch with Chris during the height of the lockdown to try and get advice on a suspected snapped belt on our ride on. Due to the restrictions he couldn't bring it in but after carefully listening to the problem he was more than helpful with giving diagnostic steps. His advice was correct, it hadn't snapped but came loose and his instructions helped me identify and fix the problem. I got back in touch with Chris a few weeks later to talk to him about my current machinery and how it just wasn't up to to the job. Less than a year old, I was missold at Oakley's and left with a machine that couldn't cope. Chris' expert opinion guided me through all the options capable of the task and took multiple factors into account. A few weeks later we put in our order. He was the perfect salesman, very informative and knowledgeable and not pushy in the slightest. He kept in touch during the delivery process as there was a delay due to the factory getting through backorders. When it was ready to arrive he arranged and date and brought it over fueled up and a comprehensive demo. The product is perfect for our needs and has made a previously long and unenjoyable job so much fun! Thank you so much Chris for all of your help, we will certainly be back for all of our garden machinery needs. We will also be taking advantage of the servicing to keep our machines in top working order!

Brilliant service and advice when shopping for my first ever cordless mower. Left with a new Ego and just used for the first time - three lawns that used to take over half an hour all done in fifteen minutes with charge to spare. No more wrestling with my ancient and worn out out old petrol mower - this thing is a joy to use and gives s great finish. If you're in Shropshire and looking for a decent mower, this is the place to go.

First Ride on tractor mower Chris the owner gave great advise for the size of my Property ordered on the day and Chris delivered it the following day and he spent a hour showing me how to use it would highly recommend and use for all my future garden equipment I have ordered a trailer for my new toy 5 Star service

Superb service from Chris and the team in demonstrating the new EGO range of cordless mowers and tools. Fantastic products backed up by excellent advice. The mower is a revelation and as powerful as the petrol one it has replaced.

The Toro Timemaster you sorted out for me is bloody marvellous- it reduces mowing time by way more than 30% :

Obviously the wider deck is great but there is more to it than that:
1/Narrow paths take 1 pass.
I2/ts wheel layout makes working around edges easy.
3/It's speed saves time moving between lawns or to and from the compost heap.
4/Dropping the push handle is so easy - I use it when working with overhanging shrubs & stuctures.
5/Setting the cutting height with 2 levers is so much easier than 4.
6/There is nothing to catch when working close to hedges.
7/It starts first pull- every time.
The only thing I would like to see addrd- reverse gear!
