Hope House cares for terminally ill children and provide emotional, practical support to their families. The charity relies almost entirely on donations and fundraising to keep its two hospices running.
Hope House in Oswestry opened in 1995 and caters for the special needs of children from the Shropshire, Powys and Cheshire region. The charity's service is free of charge to all the families, regardless of circumstance.
Demand for their services was such that in 2004, Hope House opened a hospice in Conwy called Ty Gobaith.
Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the Hope House Children's Hospices needs the support of local individuals and businesses - whether that is to donate and fundraise or volunteer.
Hope House in Oswestry and Ty Gobaith in Conwy cost £3.5m a year to run
