Shrewsbury Town Council is excited to announce its first-ever regular programme of live traditional music this summer, with the brand-new Summer of Music series at the iconic Quarry Bandstand.
Around 1501 music venues have shut down or stopped hosting live events in the past two years across the UK and a record 78 music festivals2 were postponed or cancelled last year alone.
Organisers have confirmed that Troy Hawke, one of the best-known comedians on the circuit, TV and online, will be appearing at the 2025 Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival (SICF) flagship gala show.
Ireland the Show is a lively and energetic stage production that delivers a vibrant taste of Irish culture through music, dance, and storytelling and it graced the stage at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury recently.
Tickets are now on sale and two acts have been revealed for Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival’s (SICF) flagship gala show at Theatre Severn next summer.
