A Shrewsbury based legal firm take on a trio of trainees

Wace Morgan Solicitors, which has offices in Shrewsbury and Newtown, has recruited three trainees as part of its expansion plans.

The trainees employed by the legal firm are; Allister Hagger (39), a former Shrewsbury School, pupil who gained a degree in media law at the University of Westminster and a post graduate degree in legal practice.

He has spent 15 years in journalism and worked in London as a news editor and foreign editor of the Daily Express before moving back to Shrewsbury this year to start a new career in law.

Rachel Mole (26), attended Llanfair Caereinion High School and went on to study law at the University of Wales Aberystwyth. She subsequently stayed on at Aberystwyth to complete the postgraduate diploma in legal practice.

She is a committee member of Montgomeryshire Young Professional Group and lives near Newtown and is working in the Newtown office of Wace Morgan Tomleys.

Helen Alexander (24), is a graduate of Wolverhampton University where she completed her law degree, diploma in legal practice and a masters degree in law.

Diana Packwood part of the team at Wace Morgan said; “We are pleased to welcome these new trainees who will strengthen our team of lawyers. They will all spend two years here gaining experience in a range of departments before qualifying as solicitors”.
