Two of the best known companies in Shrewsbury are working in partnership to promote each other’s quality products and services.

Hatfields Jaguar Land Rover and award-winning caravan and motorhome dealership Salop Leisure, which are now located literally across the road from each other at Emstrey, plan to work together on joint marketing and sales events because of the synergy between the companies.

Oliver Benbow, head of business at Hatfields Jaguar Land Rover, said: “We think the two brands and companies have a lot of affinity because our vehicles are very highly rated for towing caravans.

“Both Hatfields Jaguar Land Rover and Salop Leisure are strong brands and it made perfect sense to work in partnership due to the close proximity of the two sites. 

“We are hoping that the partnership will help us reach more customers, particularly in Mid Wales, and encourage people visiting Salop Leisure to visit our new site also.” 

Hatfields Jaguar Land Rover, which has recently opened a new £12 million, six-and-a-half acre base in Shrewsbury, will be promoting Salop Leisure and the company’s Love2Stay resort to its customers. 

In return, the company will be displaying Jaguar and Land Rover models at Salop Leisure’s sales centre and providing a demonstrator vehicle for staff to use. The businesses will also work together on events of mutual interest.

The Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 HSE and Land Rover Range Rover Sport P400e HSE Dynamic both won their categories at Practical Caravan’s Tow Car Awards last year and the Jaguar XF is becoming increasing popular for its towing capabilities.
