What Are Bi-Fold Doors?

Have you seen those homes on TV, usually stunning, expensive-looking homes, where they have a whole wall of windows that open out onto a stylish patio in the sun. That wall of opening windows can be created in your very own home with bi-fold doors. How Do Bi-Fold Doors Work?

Standard patio doors often only take up a small amount of the wall, whereas bi-fold doors can be extended to fill the entire wall. This will usually mean that an amount of building work to install a supporting beam over where your doors will be.
Your new doors can then become your whole wall. You can opt to pull back all the doors to create a big open area between the great outdoors and your indoor space. Or you can open a small section and use it as a standard patio door, with windows on either side.
