More couples and families than ever have become caravan, motorhome and campervan owners this year as the devalued pound has made foreign holidays much more expensive. British people are opting to staycation and to make better use of their leisure time by investing in a caravan holiday home, touring caravan, motorhome or campervan.

The West Midlands Caravan and Motorhome Show, from September 30 to October 8, is a great place to see the latest innovations for 2018 with the launch of exciting new models.

The popular annual show, which includes family entertainment, will feature around 150 new models at Salop Leisure’s impressive sales centre, based alongside Shrewsbury bypass at Emstrey. 

The show also sees the UK launch of the iconic American brand Airstream by Swift Group. Salop Leisure is one of six exclusive dealerships appointed by to sell three Airstream models - Colorado, Missouri and Yukon - which have an unmistakable rounded aerodynamic ‘silver bullet’ exterior.

The West Midlands Caravan and Motorhome Show is a free event, which attracts thousands of visitors from across the UK and aims to be a one stop shop for existing owners and first-time buyers. 

Around 70 new caravan holiday homes and a luxury lodges will be on display, including models exclusively made for Salop Leisure. Savings of between £500 and £5,000 on selected 2017 models will be available during the show.

More than 30 new touring caravan and motorhome models from Swift Group will also be unveiled and exclusive show deals will be available. For those wishing to buy a new touring caravan or motorhome, Salop Leisure is offering free delivery during the show.

A good choice of pre-owned touring caravans will also be available and there will also be a 10 per cent saving on selected awnings costing £500 and above.

VW T6 and T5 Campervan conversions by Autohaus, which have proved extremely popular since arriving at Salop Leisure, are certain to attract keen interest from enthusiasts who are prepared to travel long distances to buy their dream model.

In all, there will be more than 250 new and pre-owned lodges, caravan holiday homes, touring caravans, motorhomes and VW T6 and T5 Campervan conversions to choose from and an extended accessory superstore with price reductions on many lines. 

A team of experts will be on hand to guide first time buyers through the complete caravan ownership process and flexible finance packages are available.

This service extends to helping buyers find the ideal park location for their caravan holiday home in the Heart of England, inland Mid Wales or the Mid Wales Coast. Buyers can also visit the park finding zone, where a choice of more than 200 quality parks will be available. Park representatives will be on hand to provide information.

Family entertainment, a climbing wall, falconry displays and face painting will be available during weekends of the show and Love Coffee café/restaurant will be serving up delicious snacks, meals and drinks.

Staff at specialist plants centre, Love Plants, will also have a wide selection of plants and advice to offer for autumn, winter and spring gardens.
