One of the region’s longest-running and most spectacular Bonfire Night displays will return for another year at a stately home on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.
Weston Park’s bonfire and firework night on Sunday November 3 will feature two dazzling fireworks displays, a giant bonfire, traditional fair and a great selection of street food and refreshments.
Head of estate operations at Weston Park, Jennifer Astbury, said the event promised to deliver another sparkling night out for families across the Midlands.
She said: “Our annual bonfire and fireworks night is a true Weston favourite, and this year will be no different.
“We’ve got one of the biggest bonfires in the region and we will once again have not one, but two spectacular firework displays throughout the evening.
“And, when the colour and sparkles are no longer lighting up the skies above the parkland, the fun will continue with our traditional fun fair which will have rides for all the family.
“The giant bonfire will also be surrounded by delicious street food vendors, serving an array of dishes from gourmet burgers to loaded fries, as well as sweet treats, local ales, cider and winter cocktails from local award-winning brewery, Hobsons.”
Gates for the event open at 3pm, with the bonfire due to be lit at 5pm. The first firework display will take place at 6pm, with the second display 90 minutes later at 7.30pm.
Tickets must be brought in advance and there is an early-bird discount available for a short period of time. For details visit https://weston-park.com/bonfire-fireworks-night/
