Award-winning caravan dealership Salop Leisure has opened a fully serviced five-pitch park for touring caravans, motorhomes and campers on a site adjoining the company’s sales centre and Holiday Home Village in Shrewsbury.
The mini park, which is supported by the Camping and Caravanning Club, has been created in response to customer demand and enables the company to extend its range of services.
With panoramic views towards the Wrekin, each of the five pitches has mains water and electricity connections and the mini park has its own shower block with a kitchen area, green and grey waste disposal and a secure gated entry system.
“As we are now attracting customers from across the UK, this mini touring park allows us to offer them overnight facilities close to our sales centre,” said Scott Higgins, Salop Leisure’s marketing manager.
“It is also ideal for first time buyers to try out their new touring caravan or motorhome overnight with our staff on hand to answer any questions they may have.”
