Nicola Pugh and Jemma Jones of Shropshire-based PCB Solicitors are marking a positive first year at the firm, which has seen the duo’s client base and workload increase across the litigation and dispute resolution, personal injury, and residential law departments.
Chartered Legal Executive Nicola Pugh joined PCB Solicitors in summer 2012, specialising in all aspects of residential conveyancing, and is also a dedicated member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SfE).
Nicola Pugh, who is based at the firm’s Church Stretton office, explained: “The last year has been fantastic for me, I’ve really enjoyed working closely with clients in my local area and have found my knowledge of the South Shropshire area invaluable. I have definitely noticed an increased need for legal assistance, which has no doubt been affected by the progression of the housing market across Shropshire and the rest of the UK. I’ve also been able to develop a bespoke service for clients who are selling their properties, and review information about the property before it is marketed, which proves an extremely worthwhile exercise as it identifies any issues before they become major problems.”
Qualified Solicitor Jemma Jones joined the firm’s personal injury, employment and litigation department, and her day-to-day role sees her offer advice on various topics including employment contracts, partnership disputes, property disputes and a wide variety of personal injury claims such as accidents at work.
“The litigation and personal injury department is fast-paced and the most rewarding part of my role is being able to develop a close-working relationship with my clients, being on-hand to answer any questions regarding complex matters, and ensuring they receive a positive and professional service. In just 12 months, I’ve seen my caseload increase significantly and am thoroughly enjoying working on such a diverse range of legal matters.”
