Shrewsbury Town Football Club is all set for a tree-mendous Christmas thanks to a specialist plants centre in the town.
Six Nordmann Fir Christmas trees have been donated to the football club’s Croud Meadow Stadium by Love Plants at Salop Leisure, the town’s award-winning caravan and motorhome dealership.
The trees can be seen dotted around the club’s hospitality facilities and at the Shrewsbury Town Foundation, adding festive sparkle for staff, players, fans and guests.
Terri Duncan, the club’s events and corporate hospitality co-ordinator, said: “We are so grateful to Love Plants at Salop Leisure who once again have furnished us with six of their beautiful, real Christmas trees which add a festive sparkle to our main reception area and public landings.
“We also have two of them adorning our main Sovereign suite and one in our Arthur Rowley lounge which add an extra special touch to our Christmas Gala evenings and the wonderful aroma they give off is a delightful bonus.”
Love Plants is all set for a busy festive season with sales of Christmas trees, wreaths, decorations and plants in full swing. Available in a range of sizes to suit most homes, tree prices range from £35 to £50 for freshly cut Nordman Fir. Potted Nordman Fir and Fraser Fir trees cost £58.99.
