Richard Attah-Donkor has arrived as the new manager of The Shrewsbury Club and he is bringing some fresh new additions with him.
Richard has been at the wellness centre in Shrewsbury for a month now and has years of experience in working in the health industry.
He plans a number of improvements to the club over the coming months and is starting with the gym where he plans to improve people's whole experience.
Richard said: "We will be upgrading the gym and thinking of people's journey with us. We will also be adding more classes so if there are any classes people particularly want to see, or want to see more of, they are welcome to call or email us with their ideas. We already hold around 80 classes a week."
There will also be improvements to the cafe/restaurant The Hub with more social events being added for both members and non-members including a forthcoming Thai night and movie nights.
Richard said: "We really want to inject a community feel with events for everyone to take part in. Later in the year we plan to have Halloween and Christmas balls as well as comedy nights. Members will of course get a discount, but are welcome to bring any friends and family. This summer you can even enjoy strawberries and cream and Pimms while watching Wimbledon on the club's big screen."
Imagine Spa which is on site and has a huge range of spa and beauty treatments as well as access to the pool and sauna facilities, is open to everyone.
Richard is joined by his management team Andy Thomas, sales and marketing manager and Dan Burgess, sales advisor.
