Two Shrewsbury businesses, Simply Green and Andmech, have pledged to give £10 to Severn Hospice for every goal England score in the 2012 European Championships.

Simply Green is a family-run ground and landscape company in Shropshire, owned by Graham Davies. Andy Preston of Andmech is a fully qualified mobile vehicle technician with over 16 years' experience.

They chose Severn Hospice as it is a local charity that supports people with progressive and incurable illnesses.

Friends and Andy came up with the idea ‘cash for goals’ while watching the England vs France match in their local pub. The duo like to give back to the local community and saw this as a perfect and enjoyable way to raise funds for the Severn Hospice, whose main revenue comes from public fundraising.

Simply Green is known across Shropshire for getting their landscape work completed as quickly as possible without compromising on quality, ensuring that all customers are 100% satisfied.

Andy decided to make his car repairs business mobile, so that he can travel to customers at their convenience for hassle-free servicing and M.O.T.s.
