So Bonfire Night in Shrewsbury is upon us once more. I still love it but now I have a baby and two dogs, it does create a certain amount of stress.... Always nice to watch some fireworks and have a whiskey mac though, so I'll probably wait till Saturday and go to the West Mid Showground Bonfire Night. Some people are trying to push for a single Guy Fawkes night, i.e. you have to do it on November 5th, whether that is a Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Like Christmas Day, basically. A sensible idea or just a load of misery guts?
One of our photographers has just come back from India, so is moaning about the freezing weather. Michael Martin has been happily snapping lions and tigers for two weeks, but is now back in Shropshire photographing our exotic sheep. He specialises in event photography, from weddings to equestrian days and shooting parties.
Still haven't managed to see Quantum of Solace yet. Thought Emma and I could go this afternoon as my folks are round babysitting but Emma's said she's getting her hair done at BeachWOOD. I'm not going to the cinema on my own again, so I guess Bond will have to wait. BTW, thebestof Shrewsbury is on the lookout for a film buff who'd like to contribute regular film reviews.
