Up early this morning as I'd forgotten to put the recycling out last night. The recycling guys come really early round here. Then I stumble back to bed and Emma tells me it's household rubbish today, not recycling, and those blokes don't come till about midday! Not a good start to the week! And I should have known better as only last week I was introduced to Green Box Day, who send email reminders telling you what rubbish is being picked up and when. Free of charge service too. So it serves me right, I guess.
Not too banged up after that training session with Royce Gracie on Saturday. Fantastic day and the guy sure is a good teacher. Sometimes you get let down; afterall, just because you're a good driver doesn't mean you'd make a good driving instructor. But Royce was brilliant - explained BJJ techniques and drills well, quite a bit of one-on-one time. And he seemed a genuinely humble guy, rare in a world with so many egos. I think a BJJ class has just opened in Telford, if anyone wants to Google them. Good for fitness and self defence.
Car lease coming to an end so I'll be getting in touch with Steph White at Don't Dream It Drive It. Steph and her team have just moved into huge new premises on the Atcham Business Park. I fancy getting a Mini as thebestof have come up with a design for a full wrap. But then my brother says a Mini's not exactly manly.... Alternatives on a postcard please....
