A Shrewsbury Town staff XI will once again be pulling on their cricket whites for a friendly challenge match against a Sentinel Cricket Club XI (formerly Reman Services).
Following on from last year's event, manager Micky Mellon and co will take to the field from 6pm on Friday 8 July at Sentinel's Albert Road ground.
All supporters are welcome to attend the event free of charge, and there will be a presentation for the juniors at 8pm following the event with Shrewsbury Town players set to present the awards.
Micky is set to be joined by most of his backroom staff and other staff from the football club, and they will be looking for more success after victory in last year's event.
The match has been organised through kitman Dave Ashlin's close links with Reman where his son, Ed, is first team captain while he also regularly turns out for the club too.
