Shropshire solicitors abseil for charity

Eight brave individuals, from leading Shropshire law firm Lanyon Bowdler, recently plucked up the courage to take part in an abseil challenge in aid of the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) raising over £1,000.

The abseil, organised by Head for Adventure on behalf of the charity, took place on Nesscliffe Hill, just outside Shrewsbury.

In the pouring rain, members of the clinical negligence and dispute resolution teams, together with friends and families, took to both the smaller ‘practice’ cliff and the larger ‘real’ cliff for the challenge.

Lanyon Bowdler is listed in the national CBIT directory, and with many of the firm’s employees being active fundraisers, it was an ideal opportunity to get involved and raise some money for the charity.

The money raised will go towards ensuring the care and support given by the staff of CBIT, to children who have suffered brain trauma and their families, can be continued.

Lanyon Bowdler is Shropshire’s largest law firm which acquired a presence in Hereford from 1 December 2010. With 17 partners and in the region of 200 experienced staff, the firm is able to offer legal advice throughout both counties from local offices.

The head office is situated in Shrewsbury at Abbey Lawn Business Park, a further five offices are located in Hereford, Ludlow, Oswestry, Telford Town Centre, and Wellington.
