The hit stage and radio show, John Peel’s Shed, is coming to Habberley Village Hall on Saturday October 29th.
Written by comedian, author and music fan, John Osbourne, after he won a box of records on John Peel’s Radio 1 Show in 2002, the stand-up comedy show debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2011 to rave reviews. And it remains as popular as ever.
It took John eight years to listen to all the records in his prize. His experience and connection to the eclectic albums he received have produced a unique, gently funny and thoroughly entertaining piece of theatre. This show is an ode to radio, to those records and anyone who has sought solace in wireless.
John Peel’s Shed features a selection of albums previously owned by the late John Peel, and is a one man show about these records, full of stories about music and radio.
This is a must see for music and radio fans, and quite simply anyone looking to warm their heart on a chilly Autumnal evening, with a wonderful trip down memory lane.
