Visitors to the recent West Midlands Caravan and Motorhome Spring Show held at Salop Leisure in Shrewsbury helped raise £885 for Severn Hospice with donations for coffees and teas over the event’s 10 days.
Salop Leisure’s marketing manager Ed Glover thanked customers for their generosity during the show, the UK’s largest outdoor caravan exhibition. He said Severn Hospice is one of company’s adopted charities this year.
Lucy Ruff, Severn Hospice’s fundraising manager, said: “As an independent charity, we have to rely on the generosity of others to raise the money needed to fund our vital services across Shropshire and Mid Wales.
“Thanks to the support of companies like Salop Caravans we are able to help more local people than ever before who need our help.”
