I'm wondering what is your favourite place to eat in Shrewsbury. I know we do list restaurants on the this site - http://www.thebestof.co.uk/shrewsbury/21/1/quicklinks.aspx - but this isn't me looking for sales leads. I'm just curious about how people rate their meals out in Shrewsbury? I mean, is it just the food that's important?
My wife is more interested in the wine list than the menu, for example, and I don't mean that in a bad way! She's a connoisseur, whereas I'm more of your £5 bottle of Chilean. For my brother, price is the sole determining factor. If he's being forced to shell out £20 for a steak, he's not going to enjoy it, no matter how nice it tastes.
So if you'd like to name Shrewsbury's best restaurant - in your personal opinion - please do so here, but let everyone know why you rate it.
