A fabulous historic hotel set in glorious Shropshire countryside. Staff were very attentive and friendly, both to us and our dog! Lovely bedroom with lots of extras. Only disappointment was not being able to eat there on either night of our stay due to functions.

We visited Harley Nursery from nearby Staffordshire as this place came highly recommended and didn't disappoint! We were after an apple tree for the garden and Nick was so helpful in guiding us with regards to which variety to have and giving advice on how to ensure a healthy tree and harvest!

Having been before we knew what to expect and enjoyed every minute. My wife was particularly taken with the textile room where she tried her hand at various methods, some of which she may well try in winter. The children bottle-feeding the lambs clearly enjoyed the experience as one hope did the sheep.
