We had a lovely time doing the land army display,the working farm is superb and the grounds are just lovely .we were able to get involved and experience many things on the farm and see how it all works.will definatley go again lovely.

What a fantastic place for people of any age lots of history with the building's which have lovely exhibitions in them or lots of different animals. Highlight for me was watching a farrier putting new shoes on one of the shire horses.The cafe in the old schoolhouse was very good value with indoor and outdoor seating. Seeing whrre a tv series was filmed in real life made it even better. Will definately come back for another visit, highly recommend

Our grandkids (6 & 5) had the most fantastic time. We went in the afternoon at a quiet time which meant they could get involved in everything. Operated the bellows for the blacksmith and he gave them the horse shoe. Helped collect eggs from ducks and hens - mammoth task there! Rode the cart horses. Fed the geese, ducks and hens. Threshed the corn. Lots of other things. A truly memorable day. We were very lucky because it was late and the weather wasn’t great so they got a lot of attention but I know they will remember it for the rest of their lives. Wonderful staff. Thank you so much. They ask to go back regularly - wanted to see the lambs but then came CV19😕

Over priced for what is provided. Our visit was post covid and I feel they should have reduced the price as there was very little for children to do.
