Probably the best service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Malcolm and Kirsten looked after us all day during a mediation. They were just the best - so thoughtful and helpful. Kirsten was 3 from 3 on good restaurant recommends. Comfy bed. Probably one of the best hotel showers I’ve used. Room was a tad beige but I really enjoyed my stay. Brilliant hotel.

What a fantastic stay we have had, with people on hand like Malcolm, Kirsten and Paul I can't recommend The Albright Hussey enough, stayed for the night as a treat for my wife's 50th Birthday weekend, we had our wedding reception here 3 and a half years ago, loved it then and love it more now, stayed for the Steak night and the food like always was amazing, worth every penny, all the little things they do make everything so personal, the best food, best staff and just beatiful surroundings

A short break for my wife and i, to enjoy some time without the kids ! The people here are great - from Kirsten who helped organise everything (including our first gin & tonic in the bar), Paul the very welcoming owner, Liam who provided a lovely dinner, and Malcom with his hearty breakfasts, and hearty jokes ! Despite the Covid situation we had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in this fabulous establishment.

I had been given Gary’s number of SST by a trusted friend and called for advice regarding a poorly performing alarm system installed by a third rate Shrewsbury company.
Gary called the following day, analysed the whole system and made a number of important alterations to get the system running well.
Gary was professional throughout and my wife and I were so impressed that we’ve abandoned the original installation company and are taking out a service contract with SST.
Based on yesterday’s visit I can’t praise the company enough. Try them, you’ll feel the same I assure you.

From design to fitting, we have had the best experience. Amber is a breath of fresh air, full of ideas but listens carefully to the brief. The quality is excellent and superb value for money in my opinion. Fitting was quick and efficient by Sam accompanied by Katrina.

We visit this coffee shop regularly as the choice of cakes is amazing and always very tasty. We usually take along our granddaughter as she enjoys playing in the little playpark. When we called in on Thursday afternoon the door leading from the café to the playpark was closed. We asked an assistant (blonde hair and wearing glasses) if she could possibly open the door to allow us to go through. She was extremely rude and surly and said she couldn't possibly open the door for us as it was too windy, and then just strode off. We were left shellshocked as couldn't understand why she couldn't have just explained the reason without being so rude. We left with a bit of a bad taste in our mouth as we have always found the staff to be friendly and attentive.

Ever so slightly cheesy "experience", but provided a very good overview of the geology & history of the shropshire hills. Is geared more towards children than two middle aged grumppies & their mums. Good for maps etc.

This is a great place to go whoever you are. We were particularly impressed by the exhibition, a fine example of making the most of a small space. Loved the virtual hot air balloon ride.

Some of THE best walking in England. Long Mynd is the obvious place but all around the area has hidden gems to discover so get your walking boots on and visit the Secret Hills!

Plenty of parking just off the A49 and to the south of Craven Arms, it is a strange mixture of a Visitor Information Centre, a library, an art display area, a cafeteria, a walking centre and an attraction that tries to enthuse & inform on the local Area of Outstanding Beauty.
Unfortunately it does none of these very well, with the result that once visited you probably won't want to return. Council owned and financed it seems to have lost its way in its desire to become a general attraction.
