Very interesting insight into the history, archeology and geology of the area. Extensive displays, aeriel film of the area, children's activities, large gift shop and cafe and toilets. Footpaths through 30 acres of surrounding meadows and outdoor play area. Small entrance fee to exhibition area and voluntary £1 contribution for car park. Well worth a visit.

Definitely not deserving of 4 star rating- this hotel is desperate for an upgrade. The TV is tiny and had very poor channel choices. The driveway gives a good impression then you are completely let down. Everything needs review and upgrade.

OMG, this retailer of Caravans, Motorhomes and associated Accessories is a cut above the rest of the market. OK they are at the top end pricewise, but the units are very well presented, and all appear to have been cared for by previous owners. Even in the older vehicles there was very little sign of wear and tear. Everything was unlocked and ready for viewing with or without help from the get go.
Servicing and habitation checks are done here too. They have an extensive storage area, and allow camping on site as well. A good Cafe and a reasonable parts and accessories section rounds this off perfectly.
The staff are excellent, very polite, helpful and knowledgeable.. Some of the 2nd hand vehicles do seem quite expensive, certainly they specialise in units from £15k, but there was a sprinkling of choices at or just below. If you have the budget, this is the retailer who will suit you the most.
