Okay, so Shrewsbury is not the easiest place to stay on a budget. At the time of booking perversely, the Albright Hussey was over a hundred pounds cheaper over the two nights than a Premier Inn or Travelshed. The room i was is was quirky, there were 2 single beds and the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom. Getting back late in tge evening, the main room lightswitch is at the bottom of the stairs that go up to the bedroom, when you get upstairs, theres no switch to turn off the main light, so you have to go back down the stairs, turn off the light, then use the torch function to go back up to bed. The towel rail fell off the wall in the bathroom, (Wrong rawlplugs for a plasterboard wall and too short screws) and the foot fell off the corby trouser press when i moved it to get the to the plugs behind. The bathroom was straight out of Versaille. As i say, quirky.

I have been going to Brookside for several years and bought a range of Ego equipment including mowers strimmers brush cutters and hedge trimmers. Chris and his workforce are extremely knowledgable, helpful and reliable. I cannot praise Brookside and the Ego equipment they sell enough - especially so when the rare need arises for repair under Egos phenomenal warranty.

Always a great experience buying from Write Here! I've ordered a couple of times and have dealt with John, Yasmin and Cherie - who are all super friendly and accommodating. I only wish I lived closer to actually visit this brick and mortar store in-person!
