Lovely hotel and grounds and dog friendly rooms available. Could not eat dinner nor breakfast as student event on at night. In the middle of the country away from restaurants tough plenty of Just Eat deliveries available from Shrewsbury restaurants.

This is our favourite 'pit stop' on our way to and from mid Wales. There is easy parking, interesting shopping and an excellent cafe. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly cafe staff and the home made scones are to die for! Full marks.
Dog owners must sit outside and we were interested to watch a party of young schoolchildren on an 'adventure' visit. The teacher was truly inspirational.
Fortunately the weather remained fine on both visits but it would be helpful if a small area indoors could be made available to the increasing number of dog owners visiting the centre. It would be good for business too!
