I do check round for deals at time of renewal. They beat it. Seems some sort of auto renew box got ticked last time, I don't tick these, see above, especially as I deal over phone or face to face by preference. So bit naughty, forgiven given their quote was best price and better than most of the policies looked into.

I have been managing car insurance via Howdens Macclesfield office for several years, and have recently also been arranging home insurance through them as well. My most recent experience - looked after by Kimberley Philips - was as professional, efficient and friendly as I have come to expect. 'Phone calls were immediately taken or, when this was not possible, returned swiftly with apologies for (almost non-existent) inconvenience caused. A thoroughly pleaseant experience!
