A farm untouched by time, has a charm which is unique.
The restaurant is very good and you get very good value for money.
The live demonstrations are excellent and as one of our children had helped on the blacksmiths bellows, he was presented with the horse shoe that the blacksmith had just made. As you can imagine he was thrilled.
A first rate day out for the family.

My husband and I visited here as we were camping locally. We walked the whole attraction within 20mins and thought the place would be bigger. There were lots of activities for children and you can’t take away how hard the small team work however in hindsight we weren’t their target audience. Would go back on one of their courses which they offer at a price which look tempting.

We had a great time here. It's a lively place - the animals are out and about, so expect to make contact! We were greeted by the friendliest, cutest little goats I had ever seen! While it is great for younger children, my 15-year old daughter also had a lovely time holding chicks and feeding lambs. The guided tour was interesting and informative.

I thought this was expensive for what was on offer. Not many animals and not much happening really. It didn't take long to walk around so did not constitute a day out. More for young children

A great day out for our young children. Lots to keep the kids interested while we just wondered slowly around the farm. Lots of interesting nuggets of information all over the place. Some great looking courses to be done as well but we didn’t have the time on our holiday.

Spent a day here and time just flew by. it was really intercative - its not everyday you a see a Bull being castrated!! Kids had loads to see and happily wandred around the animals and we easily spent late morning, picnic lunch and early afternoon here. Like all these things wildfowl goes crazy in numbers and some bits need a refresh - Play equipment is a bit naff / limited and i'm not sure the lambs at lamb feeding were actually still lambs btw. massive. Overall its really well done and we had a fab time.

While staying near Ludlow we decided to visit the farm. I had taken my children many year before but we were on holiday with the grandchildren so it was a whole new experience. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a picnic before going in. Where to start this is so much for the children to do. We followed the fairy trail, went around the maze, went on the play area, saw pygmy goats, ground corn and then fed the ducks, fed lambs and held baby chicks and went for a lovely walk and saw some beautiful countryside. We saw horses and a mule, lots of ducks in a pond, chickens, pigs, cows and their calfs. We also had a chance to step back in time in the school room, house and dairy where we saw butter being made. We were there till the farm closed as the children didn't want to leave. There are toilets, parking on site, a souvenir shop which also sells the butter made in the dairy, eggs collected on the farm and meat from the farm. The children and the older members of our family loved our day at the farm and the activities we took part in.

We really enjoyed our visit. Take the time to chat to the re enactors and you will be rewarded with lots of information about the farm and the local area. We watched the farrier, and learnt the difference from a blacksmith, and why a farrier knows more about a horse's legs than the vet does!
