Firstly we looked round the exhibition in the centre itself. The filmshow was most informative and well put together. Loved the mammoth skeleton and the wooly one outside!!!!!!!! Plenty for children to do, lots of interactive displays. Afterwards walked round the meadow areas. You can take your dog round these walks and the views along the riverside are lovely. Lots of flora and fauna to stand and admire. Well worth stopping off at and enjoy learning more about the area.

We visited the café, the shop, the exhibition and had a walk through the meadows to the river. It was a nice little break and the café has lovely scones.

The exhibition was £5 but sadly had little you couldn't get better off the internet. The short drone film was a delight.

I have been here many times as it is local to us and each time I have been unable to stay out of the cafe! The cakes and icecreams are fantastic. We had Sunday lunch here yesterday and again it was fab. Lovely food and plenty of it. The staff, both in the cafe and in the shop, were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I have done a few of the circular walks which there are maps for in the shop and each time they have been clear and easy to understand. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a fun day out.

Free entry and car park. You only pay to see the exhibition. The shop is great and has good valued products which are worth the money! The café was great with a good selection of hot or cold food to chose from and lovely customer service! The exhibition is £5 which is cheap for a good day out! In this weather at the moment its a great place to visit and would love to come again with my dog! Great for all ages!

We loved visiting the Onny Meadows, watching the dragonflies at the new hotspot. The cafe offers a great range of snacks and meals with something for the whole family. Whinberry ice cream was delicious!

We often visit this godsend for walking the dogs and ourselves and for eating in the café.
There has been so much thought put into the services provided at the site and there is everything from shaded parking for Disabled to wonderful items for all ages in the shop.
The food in the café is of a delicious standard and very good value for money and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.
I would recommend this venue for all ages and needs.

Called in as was intrigued by the virtual hot air balloon ride. This was in an exhibition area that you had to pay for. It was a bit of a disappointment as although it was a stunning film it of Shropshire but was certainly not filmed from a hot air balloon. There visitor center itself has a wonderful cafe and is well worth a visit. There is plenty of walks around the meadows and by the river. There is plenty of wildlife to see. If I was local to the area I would visit often

On our caravan hols and looking for both a spot of lunch and also somewhere where we could run the dogs off lead. This fits the bill! Delicious food, but be careful serving times are strict, and then a super stroll in the nature walk and dip for the dogs in the river that runs alongside. Perfect!
