I would have given 5 stars originally however my initial renewal enquiry was soured by rude service by one representative and only rescued by the branch manager after I felt it necessary to complain and threatened to take my custom elsewhere. I hope that this is a one off and don't have to experience this type of poor service again.

Went the usual 'compare the' way to get an insurance quote for my VW Transporter. This is my own daily vehicle and is not used for work in anyway, which most of these companies couldn't see to understand. Saw an ad for A-Plan via Facebook, gave them a call and straight away I felt like I was dealing with a company who knew exactly what they are talking about. The quote came in at a 3rd of the cost of the 'others', with the option to change the policy at any point.
I was so glad I saw the Facebook post when I did and it was nice speaking to someone over the phone rather then the painfully slow online chat.
Would highly recommend and make sure you give them a call before going down the usual route.
