Graham at Simply Green is an incredibly skilled landscaper and has now completed three projects for me over the years. I wish all contractors had the same attention to detail as Graham who takes great pride in the work he completes. He cares very much about the services he provides to his customers and I look forward to working with him on more projects in the near future.

Found the centre well laid-out, informative and interesting. The exhibition was interesting and well laid-out with a nice ten minute video. Took us about 40/50 mins to walk around it.

Cafe was busy with a lot of locals which speaks of the quality at a visitors’ centre such as this. Didn’t try anything, but menu looked good.

Nice range of local produce and plenty of information.

Only criticism is that for a small exhibition, £5 seems a tiny wee bit costly, but couldn’t grumble at the information on the local area and its history.

Decent visit all-in-all.

This is a lovely place to stop and take a break. Very interesting Center with great information. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, and the prices were quite cheap! We didn't venture into the park (it was raining!), but it looked a great place to take your kids.

As discovery centres go this is one of the better ones, we do not normally bother with them but good choice to visit this one.
Good shop with an interesting range of goodies ( not all of them expensive).
Easy walks from the centre.
Only sampled the ice cream so no idea about food.

Well laid out centre things for all the family, shop, cafe and helpfull staff with maps and advice for the walks.
We had limited time and did the hours walk on only meadow very interesting would return for more walks.
My only comment is that some of the gates and fences need repair, and the toilets need to be checked for cleanliness.

Came here before catching my train. Very nice food and a great discovery centre. I had no idea a mammoth had been found here! A great shop too.

Call in on a road trip but this would make a great resource for those staying longer - particularly those taking advantage of the fine walking setting.
We stopped for lunch, each of the the four of us having something different from the wide, home made offerings.
The food was fresh and palatable and very generous proportions.
All in all, glad to have stumbled across this venue.

Can I congratulate Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre on their excellent customer service. I visited recently & had a small problem. On my return home, some distance away, I contacted SHDS & spoke to Grant (the Manager?) & he was extremely helpful in sorting out my problem. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Half term visit with our granddaughter, daughter and son in law, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the walk afterwards. Also the lunch was good too.

We went to the Bonfire event at the Discovery Centre. All I can say is GO NEXT YEAR. The firework display was absolutely amazing, there was a massive bonfire, a hog roast, hot dogs and burgers and a Wood's bar. Including stuff for the kids, rides, lights etc. It only cost £3.50 to get in and it was so well organised I can't recommend it enough. We will definitely go again next year.
