Wonderful discovery as a coffee stop but turned out to be extremely interesting. The shop has a wide range of delightful gifts. They also highlight animal welfare. Pleasant staff and great food.

Popped in here on a previous occasion with some friends and hadn't realised that there are some wonderful meadows and walks . So have been several times since . Had lunch twice this week in the cafe (we live in Ludlow) . The steak and ale pie was fab as was the delicious homemade quiche . We had Sunday lunch today which was delicious and plentiful . We did book in advance and was lovely to have a reserved table with a proper table cloth and laid properly ! Bit of a wait to order but that's because not only is there a Sunday roast but also the usual full menu . I've worked in the catering industry all my life and understand why there can be a bit of a wait .. but saying that we didn't actually have long to wait that long . And my goodness it was definitely worth the wait . Chicken was lovely and moist and very tasty and came with stuffing and roast potatoes with a dish of assorted veg separate which included swede, carrots, broccoli, green beans and new potatoes all cooked extremely well . Unfortunately didn't have room for pudding ! What's great it's all home made and locally sourced as much as possible . We'll be back again and again . Great find . And will continue to support . Oh and we thought the cafe was really good value .

Called in here on a miserable day. The inside information was very interesting and informative. Wished the weather had been better so that we. Could have walked around outside. The gift shop is lovely and bought some items cheaply in their sale.

The food in the restaurant is top rate at a very reasonable price. The walks in the thirty acre site are good and are not strenuous.
The centre itself is very informative and well worth a visit.
Entrance is free (apart from the special exhibition.

Well worth a visit. The film using a drone really gives you an idea of the surrounding landscape and it's history

I called here with my husband and son a few years back and are on holiday again in the area again so had a return visit. Knew the cafe was ok so went in for some lunch. All ok apart from asking for a cheese and tomato toastie and I got onion instead of tomato which I hate but I just picked it out. I believe the cafe are run by volunteers and it’s reasonably priced. Main meals finish at 2.
We haven’t been in the exhibition but always leave a donation for parking. The walks are lovely and we’ve been on long long ones and I returned again today for a short walk with my old dog.
Free entry to the building (£5 for the exhibition).

We always enjoy the food, drinks and walks at the discovery centre. This weekend, we had a three course Sunday lunch here and it was the best we have ever had out anywhere. The garlic mushrooms were delicious, the beef was perfectly cooked with homemade yorkshires, roast potatoes and delicious fresh veg too. The chocolate and raspberry delight desert was out of this world, perfect end to a perfect meal and then we tried some wild garlic pesto from the demo in the sofa area. Followed by a walk by the river with the dog, we had a wonderful day. Thanks to the friendly staff for their wonderful service.

On a 200 mile journey about half way we need a coffee and hopefully a scone. It felt as though nothing would come our way. After googling we found this great Discovery centre in Craven arms. What a find! Excellent for children but most of all great coffee and warm plain scones with what I think was homemade strawberry jam, This really was a tonic on the journey as weather was wet and we needed lifting. We set on our way feeling a great deal better talking of what a great scone it was
