They take in sick, injured or orphaned wild animals and birds, with the aim of nursing them back to health.
Once fully recovered, great emphasis is placed on returning them to the wild.
Founded in 1990, the centre has steadily grown over the years, in 2018 they had over 3,500 admissions.
It is their aim to advance the education of the public in the care and rehabilitation of wildlife.
