Menswear store, Swank at Mell Square Shopping Centre, has revealed its Spring/Summer 2012 collection of Liam Gallagher’s fashion label, Pretty Green. The only shop in Solihull to stock the rock ‘n’ roll brand, Swank is proud to carry the range alongside its all-British designers.
Despite his Italian roots, Swank Store Manager, Mario Giampaglia is a proud advocate of UK style – and also of 39 year old Liam’s distinctive look.
Pretty Green’s ‘Green Label’ is a focused, casual range dedicated to providing quality everyday signature pieces. Meanwhile its ‘Black Label’ offers classic tailoring using the finest fabrics with stunning attention to detail.
Even Paul Weller has created a capsule range for the label stating “I have taken my inspiration from the 60s and 70s and my own style is reflected in the collection.”
Perfectly symbolising the kind of vintage-inspired, high fashion clothing that the store represents, Pretty Green’s latest range, which is the second collection to be showcased by the Solihull store, is packed-full of casual polo tops, smart fitted shirts and stonewashed jeans.
Swank Store Manager, Mario said: “Pretty Green is such cool brand and is proving very popular at the moment. As a store, we whole heartedly support British clothing brands and the heritage look is bang on trend this Spring. Liam Gallagher is well known as a fashion icon in the UK and his new collection, which is exclusive in Solihull to Swank, shows that he knows his clothes!
“Our other British designers include Farah Vintage, Merc London, Original Penguin, Lambretta and many more. There are so many fantastic trends for Spring/Summer 2012 – I love the boating look for a smart/casual mix.”
Swank is situated on Mill Lane at Mell Square Shopping Centre in the heart of Solihull.
