Everyones favourite Jazz Festival is back...but this time its bigger and better than ever!
Introducing the Birmingham and Solihull Jazz and Blues Festival! The 2016 festival will take place from July 15th to July 24th with bands from the UK, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Holland, Canada, India, Hungary adn the USA. Performances will take place in some 60 venues with almost all of it free to the public!
The open-air Mell Square stage will be at the heart of the Solihull activity, with eight free shows over three days, accompanied with street food and a bar. Three bands are also playing over the weekend 15th to 17th July in the Touchwood shopping centre.
A musical express jazz train will run from the Touchwood entrance by Starbucks along the high street to Mell Square. This will be great fun for the children and will add a touch of musical magic to the town centre.
