Sihillians will be hoping for good weather as the Friends of Solihull Hospital Association (FOSH) holds its annual fete at Solihull Hospital Saturday, 4 June.
The fete starts at 1pm and will be officially opened by the new Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Mike Robinson. It promises to be lots of fun with children’s’ activities, live entertainment, vintage military vehicles, gift stalls, tombola and, of course, cakes and refreshments.
Live entertainment includes the Birmingham Irish Pipes and Drums, dog training demonstrations plus martial arts and dance performances. Activities for children include races, competitions and a bouncy castle.
All money raised goes towards buying equipment for Solihull Hospital. The Friends of Solihull Hospital Association raise an average of £2,500 from the fete each year.
The Fete regularly attracts hundreds of visitors each year. If you would like to find out more about the Friends, or to make a donation, please email Liz Steventon on liz@steventon.net
