An exciting combination of the town’s top networking groups is joining forces to put on Solihull’s biggest ever gathering for local businessmen and women.
The town’s business community are all being invited to go along to the National Motorcycle Museum, on June 30, to take part in the biggest networking event yet held in the town.
Local networking groups - including the organisers of the successful weekly #SolihullHour on the social media website Twitter, Business Biscotti and The Vibrant Network – have linked up with Solihull Chamber of Commerce, the promotional website The Best of Solihull, and the local online video news channel Solihull Today and the Solihull News to form a town Super Networking Group.
Organisers hope the event will be the start of regular gatherings, bringing together the local business community from all over the town, and beyond.
“We are joining forces to pull together our resources, experience, database, to give the businesses of Solihull a fantastic platform to network…not only that, we hope that contacts, associations and even partnerships can be formed, and that lots of business is done throughout the town, and for the town.” said Sarah Rowe, Business Development Manager of Solihull Chamber.
Joan Smith, the Director Designate, Solihull Chamber of Commerce, added: “We are delighted to be involved with this pilot for Super Networking in Solihull, and I would like to thank theNational Motorcycle Museum for hosting it for us – it’s going to be a really exciting local occasion.”
The event will be attended by the Lord Mayor of Solihull, Cllr Kate Wild who will make a short presentation. There will also be a high profile businessman or woman as the event’s key note speaker.
“We are delighted to be supporting this Super Networking event in Solihull,” said Trish Willetts, of the #Solihullhour organising team. “There are so many ways we can support each other, and let's hope this is the first of many joint events!”
Adam Snelleksz, of Business Biscotti and The Vibrant Network, endorsed those sentiments. He said: "Speaking on behalf of both networking groups, we are delighted to be involved in such a fantastic event, that can only be good for business in Solihull. We hope that this will further enhance what is already a thriving part of the West Midlands.
"At The Vibrant Network, we are really looking to working with the other networking groups and businesses in the Solihull area to develop business, create more contacts, and really contribute to the local business community."
The event – to be held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Coventry Road, Bickenhill, Solihull on Monday, June 30 - runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Rachel Northam, sales and marketing consultant at the National Motocycle Museum: "We are delighted to be hosting the first Solihull Super Networking meeting and hope it is the first of many to help Solihull companies make new contacts and grow their businesses. This is a great platform to support the local business community."
