The countdown to Christmas begins with the Christmas Lights Switch On in Mell Square.
Taking place on 22nd November, this is one of the most anticipated dates on the calendar and promises to be a theatrical switch on like you've never seen before.
Commencing at 4pm, you will see some amazing LED Drummers lighting up the town along with some very talented hula hoop dancers demonstrating their skills.
The stars of the 2014 Cinderella Panto will take to the stage to entertain the crowds (... oh yes they will!!!) and the Wellbeing Community Choir will herald the start of the festive season singing some traditional and favourite Christmas songs.
So who will be turning on the Solihull Christmas lights? Father Christmas of course, he will flick the switch at 5:30pm before heading to his grotto on the High Street.
Goodie bags will be available for all and the evening will end with a Christmas sing-a-long that is sure to get you into the festive spirit.
Make sure you go along to the square that promises to be jam packed with fun and entertainment.
