I had some great news in on Friday! thebestof has been identified by Startups.co.uk as one of the most exciting and promising new businesses in the UK.
Startups pulls together the 100 most entrepreneurial new businesses each year, and here at thebestof Solihull we're proud to be listed at number 28 in the 2008 list. The fact that this has come only a month after being awarded 'Innovative Business of the Year' at the Fast Growth Business Awards is testament the huge impact that our unique proposition is having. To complete the hat-trick, we were listed at number 3 in the most recent Sunday Times Tech Track 100.
Being recognized by Startups is a great achievement. In their ultimate hit-list of the UK's best new businesses the judges were looking for innovation, growth potential, strong management, bright thinkers and the ability to disrupt existing market places. We've got all these in spades, but it is the fact that our unique proposition has been recognised as something that can 'disrupt' a well-established market that really brought a smile to our faces!
