Looks like being a cracking Bank Holiday Weekend, I just hope the sun stays around too! With lots going on how are you going to fit it all in!

Family Fun

Get down to Touchwood for a Touch of Rio at the Costa del Solihull beach. On until Sunday 4th September its fun for all ages, as you soak up the carnival atmosphere, have yourself a mini holiday you deserve it!

From Thursday to Sunday this weekend  Mell Squares Summer Fun invite you to Come Out To Play.  Its the final weekend and it's Fair ground Fun 11am - 4pm with different fun fair stalls each day, giant games to play, a craft workshop, a bungee AND fun fair rides! Over the Saturday and Sunday there will also be live music, you won't want to miss out!

The Solihull Summer Fest two days of festival fun in Tudor Grange Park, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August. 

Saturday is focused on mainstream commercial acts and tribute bands including headline artistes.

Sunday will be a day of Indie/Rock'n'Roll/Acoustic music with local bands/indie tribute acts and named headline artistes.

The Solihull Summer Fest 2016 is proudly supporting The Help Harry Help Others Charity. All profits from the event are to be donated to Help Harry Help Others.

For the Adults 

St Alphege Beer Festival   A selection of real ales and ciders will be served in the Oliver Bird Hall from 12 noon to 10pm.  There will also be alternative drinks such as wine and soft drinks.  Plenty of refreshments will be on sale, and a programme of musical entertainment is planned throughout the day. Tickets are £5 for adults, on the door, to include a souvenir beer glass.  Under 18s are admitted free of charge.

NEC Shows  

From Friday through to Bank Holiday Monday at the NEC is the  Insomnia58, The UK's Biggest Gaming Festival Featuring GAME Fest for the first time, the show including the expo halls will be open an extra day making it a four-day show running from Friday to Monday. If you love video games, then head to Insomnia58.

Boot sales and markets

Hockley Heath Car Boot Sale & Market  open every Sunday 7am With refreshments, toilets and bouncy castle on site, and with plenty of parking, and also market traders are welcome.
