Friday 8th July
Midsummer Craft Market A showcase of the work of local artists and jewellery designers, as well as offering artefacts from Morocco and other overseas locations. Plants, fine foods and street food and much more. Open 9am til 5.pm Friday 8th and Saturday 9th July on the High Street, Solihull
Get your skates on with the kids at the Family Friday at Silver Blades Ice Rink from 5pm to 6.30pm a great way to start the weekend.
Still time to get your tickets for the 'Rio Carnival' Summer Charity Ball at St. Johns Hotel, by supporting this event which is in aid of Age UK Solihull, and Sustain, you are helping over 30 Solihull charities.
One for the adults Mischief Solihull held every Friday at 'Luna' located at 140 High Street.
Saturday 9th
Keep fit and join in the Brueton Parkrun a weekly 5km fun run for all the family to enjoy.
Shirley Carnival in Shirley Park, a community activity organised by Shirley Lions gets under way from 12 mid-day. The theme for this years carnival is 'The Wild West' and as well as encouraging all stall holders to dress up for the occasion there will be the usual Fancy Dress competition for the children.
There's a Touch of Rio at the Costa del Solihull beach running until the 4th September, carnival fever hits town at Touchwood! Take a look at the link for all the fantastic events scheduled for this trip to the sunny shores of Copacabana.
There will be over 150 exhibitors at the Cranmore Park Vintage & Antiques Fair From vintage clothing, accessories and jewellery, toys, retro kitchenware and much more there will be lots to see.
Sunday 10th
The weekly Hockley Heath Car Boot Sale & Market welcomes car booters and traders. Refreshments, toilets and a bouncy castle are on site with plenty of parking. Get there early for a bargain!
If you are planning a wedding don't miss the Huge Designer Wedding Dress Sale at the Ramada Hotel with dresses for the bride and bridesmaids at great prices.
Wednesday 13th
Join us at BMW Sytner for Bestof Solihull July Networking Have fun, connect & network with other local businesses and even have a test drive. There are limited places, so book now. Includes refreshments & a wonderful Buffet prepared by 'Pane e Caffe'. Everyone welcome purchase your tickets here
Thursday 14th
If you are tempted to Jump for Charity then go along to the Core Theatre and Meet Liz who has already done it! Hear from Liz what it was like to do a tandem jump, in aid of Age UK Solihull, and sign up to do one yourself!

Friday 15th until Sunday 17th Birmingham & Solihull Jazz & Blues Festival in Mell Square and Touchwood.
Friday 15th Charity Afternoon Tea at Wyndley Garden Centre to raise funds for Brain Tumor Research
