TROOP AID was founded in November 2006 by three ex servicemen in Solihull, West Midlands
It was at that time they discovered that Troops returning to the United Kingdom from the war zones arrived back without their personal effects or clothing.
The objective of TROOP AID was then and still is today to supply the ‘basic essentials’ when service casualties are admitted to hospital while they are serving their country
Examples of what we supply are a GRAB BAG, both male and female containing toiletries, shower mules, socks, underwear, t-shirt and shorts, plus a mobile phone to each patient on their arrival at the QE Hospital in Birmingham where we also supply refreshments in the Military family’s room.
Our GRAB BAGS are currently being sent out to the UK Military Hospitals Units in Cyprus, Canada, Kenya and Germany plus all Ministry of Defence Hospital Units throughout the UK
