I purchased a small collection of continental trellis panels and fixings to construct a housing for water butts on my patio. Two things struck me about my visit;
Firstly the range and quality of products on offer is really excellent, I found exactly what I needed.
Secondly, the staff are exceptional, especially the gent in the yard (big guy, didn’t get his name). It must have been 32 degrees out there on the Saturday I visited, but he couldn’t have been more helpful.
I noticed that he and his colleague both asked immediately if people needed help. This is such a refreshing change from builder yards where you have to chase staff round the racks to get an answer.
The till staff were also extremely helpful also and knew exactly,what I wanted once the order was placed, again the gent in the yard was incredibly helpful in picking and loading.
This kind of service is so important, I’m hugely impressed and will be using Earlswood for a larger project soon. Thank you for a great experience and thanks to all concerned

This morning I received a delivery from Earlswood GLC. How nice is was to have a pleasant, helpful delivery driver bring my goods. It is all too common to complain about bad service but ignore the good! Give that man a pat on the back and say thank you from me.

Danny has always been very supportive of the Solihull School Business Manager Group. Initially, as an existing supplier to some of the schools, he came along as an exhibitor to one of our conferences and besides demonstrating the latest products, donated some fantastic prizes for our raffle – which were the talk of our members for some time. Knowing that Midshire were once again attending encouraged more schools to come along to our conference the following year. The Head of one of our local primary schools actually asked me to make sure his Bursar got an invite as they had won a prize from Midshire the year before. Solihull is quite a small local authority and therefore The Solihull Schools’ Business Manager Group is one of the smaller local groups. Without the support of our exhibitors, running our annual conferences would not be financially viable and Danny introduced us to other areas of the Midshire group, who also then came along as exhibitors. Once again, some fantastic raffle prizes were donated to schools. More recently, Danny has arranged for two of the Midshire group organisations to sponsor our website, a new initiative for us. Not only will this provide us with further valuable financial support, it will enable Midshire to provide relevant company notifications to all our members and will also enable our members to ask any questions they may have of Midshire via a quick and easy forum.
I have always found it a pleasure to deal with Danny. He is always keen to support us without being at all pushy and I genuinely believe he has the interests of our schools at heart rather than a narrow-minded focus on making a sale. He is calm and professional with a real ‘can-do’ attitude, taking time to listen and get to know his contacts and resolving any issues quickly and efficiently should they arise. I hope we can continue to work with him in the future.

Danny is very personable and comes with a smile. He has a time conscious, no nonsense approach (which is greatly appreciated in our busy environment). Danny has been the only rep that has offered to log the current usage on all the network printing devices, to ensure that he provides the correct

He exudes a confidence in his field of knowledge and is very adept at putting this into layman’s terms and responds very quickly to requests (but never pressurises for a quick sale, appreciating that for school’s decisions are made by Governing Bodies that do not meet frequently).
